Success at the Diddy Final
Hi All
We have eventually received the official results from the Diddy League final.
Below are 3 reports showing places and times from the Div 1, Div 2 and Div 3 finals .. so you can see how we might have fared against swimmers in the other divisions.
The above reports only show clubs not swimmers names, so there’s a report just for us :o) below

For the statistically minded among you, below is a spreadsheet containing the Diddy Final 2013 results.

In Summary …

Sunderland move down to div 2.
Winners of div 2, Derwentside move up to div 1.
Ponteland move down to div 3.
Winners of div 3, Hartlepool move up to div 2.

Hi All
I hope you all enjoyed the Diddy League final on Sunday 23rd June . Excellent swims, excellent result and excellent support. I know we would’ve liked to have won, but finishing 2nd behind a good all round Derwentside team was very pleasing considering we were only ranked 4th going into the final.
I will circulate times and positions when I receive them and confirm all promotions and relegations. However, we’ll be staying in Div 2 next year and we’ll be joined by Sunderland who were relegated from Div 1 and Hartlepool who were promoted from Div 3.
If any of you took photographs at the weekend, please send the best ones to me and Steven (our web site administrator) will add them to our web site.
Once again, thanks for your support parents and thanks to my poolside helpers who managed to avoid getting tangled up in jim jams and nighties long enough keep a semblance of order in amongst the enjoyable chaos that is the Diddy League!
Thanks also to Ian and Sarah of Sportraiture – http://sportraiture.co.uk/ (Macy’s parents) who did this year’s team photograph and donated a new club banner we can use at all future galas and to Sue Jopling who made sure the buses got us to everywhere we needed to be.
