Congratulations!! TEAM GAW Coach Smashes British Records Masters

Competitive Development Coach Joan Edwards has set the competition standard for her young athletes.

Joan recently competed at British Masters Nationals (Plymouth) and N & D County Masters Championships (South Shields).

At British Championships she won both the 200 Free and 400 Free in life time best 2.33.99 and 400 Free 5.27.96 reducing both British records by 3 secs in the 200 Free and 0.79 secs in the 400 Free.

Joan followed that fantastic weekend results at County Championships by reducing her own British records again 200 Free 2.32.39 and 400 Free 5.19.72.

In September Joan plans to compete in the European Championships held in the Slovenian City of Kranj. 

We will keep our fingers crossed her training goes to plan.
