Potential swimmers worked hard in training for this gala which included sprints to middle distance events. So the swimmers arrived for the gala with a well deserved confidence.
After an early start, the first session swimmers started to gather personal best times and medals and by the end of day one the personal best times were flowing with swimmers supporting each other and they were a credit to the club.
Entering day two everyone was very upbeat and the swimmers did another great job by increasing the personal best time and medal haul.
All swimmers did a great performance with notable age groupers Jospeh Elliot in the 200 BR and Rebecca Allan’s 400 FC. Youth swimmers to note were Lola Wright’s 400 IM first time out and also Oliver Quigley in his 200 Fly (NER QT), congratulations to all.
